Joshua Lou Friedman
Joshua Lou Friedman has worked in film and television production since 1991, and
today commonly serves as Assistant Director on a wide range of independent
features. His television credits range from children’s animation (Inspector Gadget,
Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventures, Sonic the Hedgehog), to award-winning
favorites such as Heroes, CSI: New York, Monk, Alias, and Californication. His
feature film credits include Transformers, 9, Tenacious D in the Pick of
Destiny, Midnight Meat Train, Bitch Slap, Detention, The Dark Knight Rises, the
recent hit Big Ass Spider!, 2015’s internet sensation Power/Rangers, as well as last
year’s wildly popular horror anthology, Tales of Halloween. Joshua also made his
acting debut in the UK feature, Big Fat Gypsy Gangster (2011) where he co-
starred alongside Peter Capaldi (Doctor Who) and is currently gearing up to direct
his first feature, The Nightmare Game.
