Giant Monsters Attack NYC – A History

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Hey, giant monster movie fans, do you love seeing “King Kong” scale the
Empire State Building? Ever wonder why “The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms”
and “Godzilla” love the Fulton Street Fish Market? Then this is the panel for
you! Learn about the cinematic destruction of New York City at the claws of
some well known (and not so well known) giant movie monsters. This is a
family friendly panel that will encourage discussion and audience questions
about this amazing film sub-genre. Join amateur animator, filmmaker hobbyist, monster movie historian, and longtime I-Con attendee Mark Bailey to see why the Big Apple is so ripe for destruction when it comes to giant monsters of the big screen. Hope to see you there!
